Fear is a state shared by all sentient beings but it is our ability to act on it and to neutralize its source that is the very core of what makes us human. If the majority of us persist in denying the severity of our plight then no action we take will be enough to reverse the scourge of environmental and moral destruction that we have wrought.
Recognizing that we have a problem is not enough. We must awaken from our technological coma and regain our capacity to fear. Only then will we have a fighting chance.
